1、做外贸业务需要掌握的英文词汇有哪些

第一,通用的外贸术语,如FOB,DDU,T/T等付款发货相关的词汇等;
第二,产品及其相关词汇,这个看你具体做哪行
第三,博览群书,功夫在课外,往往跟客户关系的提升就在这些与工作不相关的闲聊中提升。

1)开发客户英语基础知识:需要定位目标市场,懂得获取和运用英文关键词。找到合适的客户,就要开始开发,开发信、电话、聊天等等,都需要英语。

2)谈判英语基础知识:等客户回复你之后,一封封详细的邮件,你要尽最大可能不去误解客户的意思。尤其一些对于数据要求很严格的产品,一个小差错会导致整个订单的崩塌。而且,要准确地讲观点和态度传达给客户,一句不恰当的表达,会失去合作机会。

3)接待客户时英语基础:毫无疑问,客户来接待才是最好的。但是英语口语不行的话,让同事接待,首先不了解客户;其次不可能每次让同事帮你。

4)英语单据发货相关的各种单据,不仅数据要准确,很多时候时间紧迫,需要及时提供。万一出现差错,改单是小事,涉及到金额就麻烦了

5)投资平台,每天进行的宣传、操作,都需要用英语。不要指望翻译软件,出错率太高,完全依赖软件,会让你的订单出现大的差错的。

6) 谈判的英语再细致些,就牵扯到与客户之间的合同、协议。

7) 付款相关英语:主要信用证。哪怕再负责的银行审证人员,最后的决定权和审核责任仍然在你自己。一些信用证复杂的,长达十几页,翻译公司和银行审证员都不能完全依赖,需要一条一条去看,一个单词一个单词地去审查。
