货运代理，英文为freight forwarding，“是货主与承运人之间的中间人、经纪人和运输组织者。”在中国，国际货运代理是指一种新兴的产业，“是处于国际贸易和国际货物运输之间的‘共生产业’或‘边缘产业’。”
在货代空运中，BUP是整板交货的意思（build-up），BUP交货时一般carrier也就是航司会根据Forwarder的要求使用ULD承载货物，不与其他家Forwarder拼板，整个板上都是自己的货物，多用于高附加值的空运货物（如成品手机）以保证货物在运输、中转、装卸过程中的安全性。
相对应的是交散loose cargo（不是说货物是散落的，也不是说货物底部没有托盘，而是说没有Build-up）。

6、货代中的装柜和装箱流程是怎样的
一 装柜前
1 拟定装柜方案
货柜的体积，每柜需装的货物（种类，数量），了解货物的性质（体积---若无现成的，需要自己测量， 重量---测量， 耐压度， 是否易碎）注意：计算装柜方案时要考虑货柜的平衡（重量要平均），柜尾最好摆放海关易通过的货物，为减少不必要的麻烦

去仓库或厂房看哪些货物以准备好，哪些货物在准备当中，并催促准备尚未齐全的货物（吸取教训，缺少一样货，装货将无法 进行，只能中断。 12-1）

二 装柜过程
1 重视第一车----很重要！
第一车为示范，在初拟装柜方案的基础上，根据装柜的实际情况做调整，并记录好的调整的过程，得出新的装柜方案（可拍照）

①装柜前， 熟悉每个货柜应装的货物品种，数量，装柜方案

装柜前，看货物摆放位置，数量，数量缺少的货物联系仓库准备好，要及时供货
